Fund-raiser for LH JAMS and the Jeff Gummo / CCAC Scholarship for the Arts, bringing Hitsville back to Lock Haven for a return performance as we remember the 2021 LH JAMS festival!
Philadelphia’s York Street Hustle is one of the most dynamic Motown tribute bands around. They specialize in the classic sounds of the 1960’s. Legends, like Stevie, Aretha and the Four Tops; lesser-known artists including Donny Hathaway, Arthur Conley and Betty Everett – all are given new life. With grit, sweat, and attention to detail, The York Street Hustle is the Northeast’s premier 10-piece 1960's soul tribute. This is not your typical Motown wedding band! In a few short years the York Street Hustle has gone from filling tiny South Street bars to repeated sell outs of WXPN’s World Cafe Live. Their repertoire now spans over 80 songs including more than a decade worth of Detroit, Memphis and Chicago soul.
CHRIS MINGEAR / opening act
To open the evening’s entertainment, before York Street Hustle comes to the stage, Chris Mingear will perform at 6:00 pm. Chris explains his music here:
“The term "roots music" is tossed around a lot these days but i'd have to say that what I do definitely falls into that area. I cut my teeth on old school blues and I must say that's where I feel the most comfortable when I have a guitar in my hands. I've been playing and performing for close to 40 years now in one form or another from a solo thing, to a duo with my brother, to a fairly successful band in the late 90's in the southern California club scene. As I travel thru life I always try to stay connected to music anyway I can at this time I'm doing the solo thing again; trying to bring my take on some great songs of the past as well as tell a few of my own stories along the way.”
YORK STREET HUSTLE - was at the Roxy Theater (our only ticketed fundraising performance)

VELVEETA
Main & Grove Street Stage / BLOCK PARTY
This band had the streets rockin’ last year! We are bringing them back for a smashing return engagement!
Velveeta will continue to spread the cheese again this year on Main Street with 80’s & 90’s hits. One of the most popular Central PA party bands, Velveeta will rock downtown with covers from Journey, the Cars, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Neil Diamond, Guns ‘N Roses, Tom Petty, U2 plus many many more. Last year was the first time for the Block Party and it was truly an awesome atmosphere with people of all ages singing and dancing from the opening song to the encore performance.
One of area’s most popular ‘high energy’ bands, Velveeta was formed in the summer of 1995 with a tongue in cheek approach to the finest in cheesy 80's music. Over the decades, Velveeta has honed their skills into one of the most entertaining and talented cover bands in the Northeast specializing in music from the golden age of MTV and music videos.
Although they consider themselves entertainers instead of artists, their exceptional musical talents cannot be denied. Through the years, the band has expanded its repertoire, but the majority of their set-list is still music from the 1980s; from Cyndi Lauper and Billy Idol to Duran Duran and the B-52s, from Journey and the CARS to Joan Jett and Guns N’ Roses. Velveeta has performed at Steelers games at Heinz Field along with the pre-game festivities outside Beaver Stadium and Penn State’s THON.
Band Members include Brent Martin on Keys, Guitar and Vocals, John ‘Bones’ Harper on Drums & Vocals, Brian Kriley on Guitar & Vocals and Adam Becker Bass Guitar and Vocals.

WITH DRUMMER LARRY MARSHALL AND STEVE MEASHEY ON BASS
Elks Patio Stage
Steve Rudolph, Larry Marshall and Steve Meashey have entertained LH JAMS jazz lovers on several occasions since our first festival in 2016. Being true to the LH JAMS format, we offer a wide range of musical genres . We promise never to be predictable but always exceptional. This year Steve and the guys are joining Paul Jost for this special journey through the history of American jazz and pop right on Main Street.
If you are a true jazz lover, you understand that usually you have to travel to a large metropolitan area to hear something of this caliber.
Steve Rudolph
Steve Rudolph has had an inspiring career in his 60 years of professional music making. Jazz Improv Magazine states, “Rudolph is a savvy, swinging, glimmering heavyweight...simply outstanding.” With fifteen acclaimed CDs as a leader, he has served as producer, arranger and pianist on many recordings.
His vast experience encompasses concert performances with many jazz masters including Louie Bellson, Clark Terry, Terry Gibbs, Al Grey, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, and the Mills Brothers. Steve’s career has taken him on tours throughout the U.S., India, Europe, Canada, Russia, and the Caribbean.
A year-long tour with Buddy Morrow’s Tommy Dorsey Orchestra brought him to Harrisburg in 1978 where he has been largely responsible for the growth and development of the thriving jazz scene in Central PA since that time. His devotion to the art of jazz inspired him to found the Central PA Friends of Jazz, now in its 43rd successful year of monthly concerts, youth band, jazz camp, and annual Central PA Jazz Festival. Steve was the recipient of the 2002 Harrisburg Arts Award for his dedication to the arts and community service and was awarded two Composition Grants from the PA Council on the Arts. In 2023 he was voted into the Central PA Music Hall of Fame.
Paul Jost
When describing vocalist and arranger Paul Jost, two words come to mind … “passionate” and “storyteller”. To Paul, each lyric offers a story, a message, and a vehicle to convey his own interpretation and message. While Paul is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger, it’s his vocal style that makes him standout. With his reputation as a vocalist growing, Paul has been filling rooms on the New York club scene as well as captivating audiences on festival stages both in the US and Europe.
Paul Jost released the album “Simple Life” in the U.S. on March 29, 2019. He performs with his quartet including Jim Ridl-piano; Dean Johnson-bass; and Tim Horner-drums. Special guest on the album is vibraphonist Joe Locke on four songs.

JAMES SUPRA AND THE SARAH AYERS BAND
Main & Grove Street Stage
James Supra’s blues harmonica prowess is legendary in the world of blues. For more than 30 years he has been playing the blues with variations of his own bands and sharing the stage in the U.S. and abroad with blues notables as diverse as B.B. King, Catfish Hodge, Bobby Radcliff, Tommy Castro, Rhett Tyler, Slam Allen and Kid Bangem. While there she continued to expand her extraordinary vocal talent to the blues, jazz, and rock and roll.
After returning to the Lehigh Valley and filling in for Bev Conklin of BC and Company at a Musikfest performance, Ayers formed her own blues band in 2002. Since than, Ayers has continued to pile up accolades and awards for her vocal virtuosity that has included multi-year LVMA (Fan and Industry) awards for Best All-Around Performer, Best Female Vocalist, Best Singer-Songwriter, and Best Album “3 AM Epipheny” (2007). Ayers has also recorded backup vocals for an early Tyrone Vaughn (nephew of Stevie Ray) CD.
B-STREET BAND-A TRIBUTE TO THE BOSS!

Rock it out with B STREET on MAIN STREET!
From the heart of the Jersey shore, “Backstreets” was the first band in the world to do a unique tribute to a live performer. There are now an estimated 140,000 tribute bands following their lead and performing all over the world. Nearly 6000 performances later, now named the BSTREETBAND—they are still the hardest working tribute band on the circuit with 175+ shows per year throughout the country—including really large venues! Huge crowds of over 30,000 fans attended the NYC Tunnel of Towers 15 year Anniversary event with the BSTREETBAND performing.
Venues include opening before Springsteen shows outside at the Philadelphia Spectrum for the final 4 events of that historic arena. The band was honored to accept an invitation from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame “Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen” exhibition to give multiple performances at the Philadelphia Constitutional Center.
B-Street Band has had the honor and pleasure of performing with several members of the E-Street Band including “Miami Steve” Van Zandt, Mighty Max Weinberg, the late great Big Man Clarence Clemons, Garry W. Tallent and Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez.
We may know your next question and the answer is yes, even “the Boss” himself has made an appearance to see the B-Street Band!
